Famous Russian boxing champions donated blood at a donation center to help victims of the tragedy at Crocus City Hall near Moscow, the press service of the Russian Boxing Federation reports.
World and European champion Elena Savelyeva with her husband, Honored Boxing Coach of Russia Nikolai Podyapolsky, multiple world and European champion Sofia Ochigava and former WBC world champion Grigory Drozd gathered at the Gavrilov Blood Center.
“This morning our champions donated blood at the donation center for the victims of yesterday’s tragedy. We invite you to unite in the fight against this terrible misfortune! – says the press service release.
On Friday evening, unknown assailants opened fire on the Crocus Town Hall in Krasnogorsk. According to the latest data from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, 93 people died as a result of the attack. The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened criminal proceedings regarding the terrorist attack.
