The director of a martial arts club in the city of Ivanovo, Igor Panov, told that the coach recognized one of the suspects in the Krasnogorsk terrorist attack in the photo.
After the release of videos and photos of those arrested on suspicion of carrying out a terrorist attack at Crocus Town Hall, the identity of one of the suspects was preliminary established.
As the club’s owner told , one of the trainers recognized the detainee as a man who was undergoing Muay Thai training.
— They sent me this photo, I immediately called our coach. He recognized this guy, but said he had been training Muay Thai with us for about a week. Apparently, he decided to come once for himself and found himself in the picture. As I was told, he was a hairdresser, that’s basically all we knew about him.
I don’t want this person associated with our club, I repeat, he trained with us for about a week. I called the coach myself and asked, if necessary, to contact law enforcement. I would like to express my condolences to everyone affected. This is a terrible tragedy for which the perpetrators can have no excuses,” Panov told .
On Friday evening, unknown assailants opened fire on the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. According to the latest data from the Russian Investigative Committee, 115 people died. The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee has opened criminal proceedings regarding the terrorist attack.
