Brazilian fighter Igor Severino will be kicked out of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after an incident at UFC Vegas 89, MMA Fighting reports.
During his promotional debut, Severino bit his opponent Andre Lima.
-If you are upset and want to end a fight, there are many ways to do it, but the worst thing you can do is bite your opponent. You will now lose the greatest opportunity of your life. Not to mention he will have serious problems with the Nevada Athletic Commission, said UFC chief Dana White.
Severino received a UFC contract after winning the Contender Series in September 2023.
