Former absolute world boxing champion Constantin Tszyu told he won’t come to the US for his son’s fight Tim against the American Sebastian Fundora.
Tszyu was supposed to fight American Keith Thurman at a boxing evening in Las Vegas (USA) on March 30, but the opponent withdrew from the fight due to injury. Tszyu will now enter the ring against another American representative, Sebastian Fundora.
Earlier, Australian Fox Sports had mentioned the possibility of Konstantin’s arrival.
– No, I will not be at ringside for Tim’s fight.
— That wasn’t even in the plans?
– This idea fell through. I couldn’t go there.
— For you, these would probably be great emotions.
“Maybe it would have been worse for him, extra excitement,” Tszyu told .
In the professional ring, Tszyu, 29, fought 24 bouts and won them all; he is the WBO junior middleweight champion.
