Former IBF and IBO junior welterweight champion Eduard Troyanovsky told that he is not going to retire and would like to have one more fight.
Troyanovsky has 30 victories and three defeats in the professional ring. The 43-year-old boxer had his last fight in May 2022, when he beat Rustem Memetov ahead of schedule in a fight for the Russian championship belt.
— I’m not going to officially end my career yet. Maybe I’ll have another fight, I’m waiting for offers. During their absence, I devote myself to political activities and the education of young people. As you know, I am the director of a sports school (in Orel).
—Who would you have this last fight with? Probably not a top boxer?
– 200% yes. There’s no point in facing a top boxer, because I’m not 25 or even 35 years old. I would box with one of the famous champions, over 40 years old, who in their youth, in the good sense of the word, did great things,” Troyanovsky told .
