Legendary boxer’s championship belt auctioned in US Mohamed Ali.
Muhammad Ali’s 1970s WBC heavyweight championship belt, which Ali received for defeating George Foreman, was purchased by Indianapolis Colts NFL club owner Jim Irsay, which the latter announced via social media. The belt was purchased for $6 million.
It should be noted that this championship belt in 2016 was sold for $358,500.
Muhammad Ali died in 2016 at the age of 74.
