The former absolute world heavyweight champion said that the years spent in prison were the best of his life.
“I spent three of the best years of my life in prison. I became at peace with myself. Look, money means nothing if you don’t have peace, stability, balance. You have to be smart in controlling every aspect of your life . I always say that God punishes you by giving you everything you want to see if you can handle it,” Tyson told Boxing Social.
Let’s remember that Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison for rape in 1992, of which the boxer spent three years in prison.
