Cormier advised Gustafsson to end his career after Krylov knockout at UFC tournament

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion in two weight classes Daniel Cormier advised the Swedish fighter Alexander Gustafsson retire after defeat Nikita Krylov at UFC Fight Night 208 in London.

On Saturday, Krylov knocked out 35-year-old Gustafsson in the first round, the fight lasting just over a minute.

Gustafsson is everything. He must go. Krylov’s blows were heavy, but he was used to enduring them. That chin is no more. Go away my friend. We all have an expiration date. You are one of the best fighters among those who went untitled,” Cormier wrote on his Twitter page.

Gustafsson was a three-time contender for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. During his MMA career, the Swede had 18 wins and eight losses.
