Belt added to the collection of the owner of the NFL club
Champion belt of the legendary boxer Muhammad Aliwhich he received in 1974 for winning a duel with George Foremansold at auction for $6.18 million.
The belt was purchased by the owner of the NFL club Indianapolis Colts Jim Irsi. He is known as a major collector of sports rarities.

The sale price was one of the highest ever paid at auction for a sports item.
Recall that Ali defeated the previously undefeated Foreman in Kinshasa by knockout in the eighth round and regained the heavyweight title. He held the WBC belt until his loss to Leon Spinks in 1978.
