Fundora promoter: We stick to the agreements and are ready for a rematch with Tim Tszyu

Terence Crawford and Sergey Bogachuk are vying for a fight with the WBC and WBO super middleweight champion

Sampson Levkovichpromoter of the WBO and WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora stated that the priority goal for the American is a rematch with Tim Tszyubefore facing Terence Crawford or Errol Spence.

“We all wanted this fight so badly that many of our agreements were verbal. There wasn’t enough time. But I want to make it clear that Fundora’s team will honor the agreement. My word is always equal to a signed contract. Tim Tszyu, your rematch is ready when you are ready.”

Earlier, the WBO officially ordered Fundore to make a mandatory defense of two belts against former undisputed two-division champion Terence Crawford. Boxers must agree on a fight by April 25.

The second candidate for the fight with Fundora is Sergey Bogachuk. The Ukrainian received the status of mandatory challenger for the WBC belt, winning the title of interim champion in a fight against Brian Mendoza.

Let us remember that Bogachuk was initially supposed to fight for a full WBC championship belt with Fundora. However, the fight fell through, as the American was appointed to replace Keith Thurman in the fight against Tszyu.

Fundora defeated Tim Tszyu by split decision in late March to win the WBO and WBC junior middleweight titles. Both boxers received cuts and spent most of the fight bloodied.
