The famous American boxer does not believe that the WBC world champion can fight on equal terms with the Ukrainian.
Tyson Fury will lose to Alexander Usik in a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. This is what American boxer Steve Cunningham, who once fought with the Briton, thinks.
In his opinion, the WBC world champion will not be able to withstand the speed of the Ukrainian and will lose on points. The option to disqualify the Briton is also possible.
“Usyk is going to beat Fury by decision. Or Fury is going to be disqualified. Fury needs to lean on Usyk and lean on him to tire Alexander out, like he always does.
I think Usyk’s team will warn the referee about this before the fight, and Fury will get a point deduction,” Cunningham told World Boxing News.
We remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury will take place on May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, famous British boxer Dillian Whyte made his prediction for Usik and Fury’s fight.
