The functionary said whether domestic fans should expect a showdown between the two Ukrainian boxers.

The promoter of WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchik is predicting the possibility of a fight between his protégé and Vasily Lomachenko if they win their next title fights.

According to Alexander Krasyuk, Ukrainians should not expect too much from such a match. The option of a unification fight with WBC champion Shakur Stevenson looks more realistic.

“I think the most realistic fight is between Berinchyk and Shakur Stevenson, rather than Lomachenko. I don’t think the world community is interested in a fight between two Ukrainians for some titles. Although for us it will be a historic event.

Regarding Lomachenko, I cannot comment because I do not know his true motives and plans. There is still a lot to do, but one thing I can say for sure is that we will be rooting for our team.

And, God willing, there will be more champions of Ukraine, more often our anthem will be played, our flag will be raised, and more mentions about our state in the media world. Forward to victory,” YouTube channel TYK MASON quoted Krasyuk as saying.

We remind you that Lomachenko will fight George Kambosos for the vacant IBF title on May 12, and Berinchyk will compete with Emanuel Navarrete for the vacant WBO lightweight belt on May 18.

Earlier, Krasyuk said that Oleksandr Usik’s team stopped joking and criticizing Fury.
