The Ukrainian’s triumph came in the third round
Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Vladislav Sirenko (20-0, 17 KO) defeated the American Deon Ronnie Hale (5-18-1, 4 KOs).
The fight took place at the Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville, USA. The Ukrainian triumphed in the third round, successfully landing a powerful combination of hooks and uppercuts.
This was Sirenko’s first fight since 2021. The Ukrainian was supposed to return to the ring in March 2023, but injured his hand and underwent surgery. Note that the fight with Haley was shifted from March to April, since the US police arrested Deon a few hours before the fight with the Ukrainian.
In 2021, Sirenko had four fights – the Ukrainian celebrated victories in all of them. In March, Sirenko defeated the Pole Kamil Sokolovsky by decision, in June he knocked out the Frenchman Neufel Ouatu, and in September he knocked out the Russian Alexander Ustinov.
In December of the same 2021, Sirenko defended the WBC Asia heavyweight championship belt in a fight against another Ukrainian Andrey Rudenko.
