“Being in Europe does not mean that billions will be paid to you” – Iranian fighter Heibati spoke about life in Ukraine and Germany

Iranian fighter Ali Heibati, who participates in Russian tournaments, spoke in an interview with about his attitude towards Russian foreign policy and his life in Kharkov before the start of the Northern Military District.

33-year-old Iranian fighter Ali Heibati fought 11 fights in Russia under different rules, starting in 2023. His last fights took place under the rules of boxing with gloves for MMA against Ivan Emelianenko and Artem Tarasov. Previously, Heibati studied in Kharkov and worked in Germany as an engineer.

— Now difficult events are taking place in Kharkov. Has the house you lived in survived?

“My wife’s father’s house is almost destroyed because they live about five kilometers from the Russian border. I’ve been silent about this for a long time, but let there still be an exclusivity. In Ukraine, people were deceived. My personal example: while I was still learning German in Kharkov, I saw the city’s people going out with Russian flags. But at the same time, I read the German media. So I arrive at the Deutsche Welle website, which says that pro-European forces have taken to the streets of Kharkov. And I was like, “What?!” » This is a complete deception. I now see many Ukrainian refugees in Germany – and they now understand that the West has abandoned them. Take my industry, the Motor Sich factory, which produces aircraft and helicopter engines… They sold these engines to Russia – a good market for them. But in Europe they have not obtained a sales license. That is, if Ukraine turns away from Russia and enters into a customs union with Europe, Motor Sich will have to close its doors. And KHAZ (Kharkov Aviation Plant) is also expected to close. In other words, Ukrainian industry will close its doors. I don’t understand how they were so deceived. They should have wiser politicians.

Everyone wants to go to Europe to live tomorrow like in Munich. But that won’t work either. I was in Bulgaria, it was just a nightmare. When you leave the tourist area, it’s like being homeless. Worse than in Ukraine when I lived. Although Bulgaria is in Europe. Being in Europe doesn’t mean billions will be dumped on you. Germans don’t give each other anything for their birthday. You go to their house and they don’t feed you. They are pretty greedy people, why should they shower money on you, on the whole country? This is purely childish thinking. They should have thought about entering into an alliance with Russia. And today we shouldn’t do such stupid things. The man they brought to power was deceived by the Americans.

— Do you know who Sergei Yesenin is, a Russian poet who traveled to Persia and wrote many poems to it?

– Honestly no. But you said it became very interesting. When I was studying in Kharkov, I was always interested in reading about Russian scientists in the field of mechanics and mechanical engineering. Professor Lyulka, who made a very great contribution to the creation of aircraft engines… Zhukovsky, who developed a lot in the field of mechanics… At that time there was neither the Internet nor smartphones, and I took their books, read them before bed and enjoyed them.

Honestly, I can say that I don’t know literature well, but I will definitely look into Yesenin. It is often said that Ali “licked” Russia. No guys! Ask my wife: I already read Russian Scientists in 2013 and really enjoyed it. If I say something in favor of Russia, I have arguments.
