The Ukrainian holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts named his unexpected favorite literature.
Alexander Usik is reading a book by former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, preparing for a fight against Tyson Fury. The Ukrainian holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts spoke about it.
According to the athlete, now he no longer uses social networks, and only devotes his free time to books and talking with his family.
“My preparation is going well, my training camp hasn’t changed, it’s still going. My team is fine. Everything is fine.
I don’t follow Instagram, Facebook, or watch Tyson Fury videos. I just focused on my preparation, the camp, my family and the team.
I don’t use Instagram. Now. I think it’s bad for me now – it’s a waste of time. I read books, talk to my family. I don’t know what is happening outside my camp, my home, my training.
I have two books. The first is a book on psychology, and the second is a book by the President of Ukraine Kuchma, not the current one, not Zelensky. The book is called “Ukraine is not Russia,” Usik said in an interview with SecondsOut.
Let’s remember that Usyk used Instagram earlier, publishing a post dedicated to Fury.
