Athletistic/Boxing. Russian boxer Bakhram Murtazaliev won and won the vacant title of world champion in the weight category up to 69.9 kg, according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF). In a 12-round fight which took place in Falkensee (Germany), he defeated the German Jack Culcay by technical knockout in the 11th round.

The title became vacant after American Jermell Charlo pulled out of a fight with Murtazaliev in November 2023, resulting in him being stripped of the IBF world title.

Murtazaliev, a 31-year-old athlete living in the United States, competed for the world title for the first time. It was his 22nd career victory, 16 of which were by knockout. Culcay, 38, was beaten for the fifth time in 33 victories and failed to become world champion for the second time.
