Russian boxer Bahram Murtazaliev defeated German representative Jack Culcay and won the vacant title of world champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) among junior middleweights.
The fight, which took place in Falkensee (Germany), ended with the victory of the Russian by technical knockout in the 11th round. Murtazaliev had his last fight in December 2022, when he defeated Mexican Roberto Valenzuela by unanimous decision.
In the professional ring, 31-year-old Murtazaliev won 22 victories (16 by KO) in 22 fights, and 38-year-old Kulkay 33 victories (14 by KO) with five defeats.
