Duke McKenzie has named his favorite to fight for the title of absolute super heavyweight champion.
Oleksandr Usyk is a more versatile fighter and has a higher boxing IQ, making him the next undisputed heavyweight champion. This is what former three-division world champion Duke McKenzie said.
According to him, this is the reason why the Briton still avoids fighting with the Ukrainian, because he has never met such an opponent in the ring.
“Usyk will win, I don’t want to give anyone a cold shower, but I see Usyk winning because he is a much more versatile fighter.
I don’t think Fury has ever fought anyone like him, and Usyk will be determined for this fight. Oleksandr Usyk, in good shape, can keep up with any heavyweight who ever lived… Usyk has a high boxing IQ. He’s very smart, very level-headed, he hits well, he has good timing, he can cancel out the size of big guys.
That’s what I think he’ll do against Fury: he can neutralize his size and compensate for the size difference by getting close, staying close, outworking Tyson, possibly wearing him down – that’s how I see the fight this,” McKenzie was quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
