The Briton wants to be seen as a person, not just a title holder
British boxer Anthony Joshua said that he would destroy the won world champion belts in the event of a victory over Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“When I win the fight and become a three-time world champion, I will break the belts because people have to learn to respect me as a person.”
“I don’t want to be judged for the belts I own. I want to be respected as a person,” said the boxer.
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. The fight will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming platform.
Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
