Jon Jones denies version of anti-doping agent: “Lack of professionalism”

A representative from an anti-doping agency visited the fighter and, after the meeting, filed a police report alleging that the American attacked her and threatened to kill her.

However, in the report released by Albuquerque Police, Jon Jones denied everything the agent said. In his version, the fighter said that he only uttered some bad words and verbally insulted the professionals present. According to the athlete, she invented this story after leaving his residence.

Jones revealed that there was a strange moment during collection for the exam, as the fighter accidentally took the employee’s phone. However, according to him, the device was returned to the counter, where it was found. In the police report, the American confirmed that he insulted those present, but denied any type of aggression or threat.

The main reason for the disagreement was due to the timing of the collection, as Jones was caught off guard by the agency and had been drinking the night before, when he celebrated a birthday. Thus, the fighter performed the exam reluctantly, but still stated that he collaborated with the process in accordance with what the protocol requires.
