UFC 301 will take place in Rio de Janeiro on May 5
Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter Igor Lost (20-5) will fight his next fight with the Brazilian Michel Pereira (30-11).
The fight will take place as part of the show UFC 301 in Rio de Janeiro on May 5. The Ukrainian will replace the Uzbek fighter Mahmud Muradov in the fight, who initially planned to fight Pereira.
It was previously reported that Lost will fight his next fight against Russian Sharabutdin Magomedov on June 22 as part of the UFC show in Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian said that he did not choose his opponent and always accepted the opponents assigned to him in the UFC.
In his last fight, Lost won a landslide victory over Pole Robert Bryczek at UFC Fight Night 236 in Las Vegas in February. In the fight with Brycek, Lost broke his losing streak in the Octagon. Earlier in December, the Ukrainian lost to Brazilian Rodolfo Bellato as part of the UFC on ESPN 52 event in Austin.
