The fight will take place on the undercard of the Haney-Garcia fight.
Ukrainian middleweight boxer Sergey Derevyanchenko (14-5, 10 KOs) will fight against the American Vaughn Alexander (18-10-1, 11 KO).
The fight will take place on April 20 in New York. Let us note that the confrontation between Derevyanchenko and Alexander will take place on the undercard of the show of WBC junior welterweight world champion Devin Haney with Ryan Garcia.
In his last fight, Derevyanchenko lost to Mexican Jaime Munguia by decision. Sergey was supposed to fight against American Rowdy Montgomery on January 6. However, the Ukrainian was injured and the fight fell through.
Earlier, Derevyanchenko said that he plans to perform in the professional arena for about two more years. The Ukrainian’s main goal is to win the title.
The boxing evening with the participation of Derevyanchenko, Alexander, Haney and Garcia will take place in Brooklyn, at the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets basketball team and the New York Islanders hockey team.
