— I am sure that those who go to Belgrade are currently the strongest. We had a two-stage preparation for the tournament: first we underwent general and special physical training in Kislovodsk, now we are at the final stage at the magnificent base of Lesnaya Pushka – with the national teams of Belarus and from DPRK, we organize training sessions. There is still time before the European Championships, so we are not canceling the pair work for the moment. In general, the girls are well prepared and understand the responsibilities. The main thing is to deal with anxiety,” said the team’s head coach Albert Mutalibov.
Russian athletes, according to the decision of the International Boxing Association (IBA), participate in competitions using national attributes.
