The British heavyweight believes that they do not want to respect him as a person, but only the achievements are appreciated.

Anthony Joshua says he is not interested in championship belts. The British heavyweight has promised to throw them away if he wins over WBA, WBO and IBF world champion Oleksandr Usyk.

According to him, he will not hide the titles because he wants to be appreciated as a person.

“The big Anthony Joshua wins and became a three-time world champion. I’m throwing these belts out because you have to learn to respect me as a person. Quote this. I don’t want to be respected for the belts. I You want to respect the person you see,” Joshua was quoted as saying by Boxingnews24.

It can be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be held on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. The match will take place at the Super Dome in Jeddah.

In the first fight in September 2021, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.

In the past, Anthony Joshua explained why he changed his coach and decided to work with Robert Garcia.
