The British boxer wants to fight Anthony Joshua, but he understands that this fight cannot be held earlier.
Tyson Fury has spoken about a possible title fight against his compatriot Anthony Joshua. According to the WBC world super heavyweight champion, he is ready to fight his countryman.
At the same time, the Briton mentioned that he does not believe that such a fight is possible before the planned rematch against Alexander Usik.
“A fight against Joshua? I don’t look behind Usik. Alexander won’t say: “Okay, I’m giving up 75 million for a rematch. Just give me 50 million and I’ll step aside.” Do you really think there’s any chance of that happening? I don’t think so,” Fury was quoted as saying by Boxing Scene.
We remind you that Usik’s fight with Fury is scheduled for May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Previously, Fury’s promoter hinted that viewers may never see a rematch between his protégé and the Ukrainian.
