The WBC world super heavyweight champion admitted that he is very afraid of the Ukrainian.
Tyson Fury is afraid of Oleksandr Usyk. This is what the WBC super heavyweight world champion himself said.
According to the British boxer, the Ukrainian has penetrated his consciousness and cannot do it from the inside.
So Fury is worried he won’t be able to land a single punch on Usyk in the May 18 fight.
“I’ve been really looking at myself and thinking about myself. You know, little by little this guy is coming into my head and destroying me from the inside. I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to throw a punch come fight night because he is so strong it stops me.
He studied the greats and copied my style. Now I’m very scared. My God, forgive me for swearing. I’m really afraid that he’s copying my style. And everything I do: talks, photos at press conferences, costumes of different characters from Marvel movies. I want to see what he has in store for this match. I’m really becoming a fan of him, a fan of Usyk,” Fury told The Stomping Ground.
We remind you that Usik’s fight with Fury is scheduled for May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Previously, Fury announced how much he wanted to earn in boxing.
