Russian mixed martial arts fighter Arman Tsarukyan explained why he hit a spectator when entering the fight against Brazilian Charles Oliveira at the UFC 300 tournament in Las Vegas (USA).
Tsarukyan defeated Oliveira by split decision. On his way to the octagon, the 27-year-old fighter hit a fan.
“He gave me the middle finger and wanted to hit me, and I hit back, that’s all.” No one shows me such gestures. I will definitely answer this. You can give me your middle finger at 200m and I won’t be able to hit you, but when you’re close to me… It happens automatically. I’m from Russia, please don’t do this, otherwise I will go to prison in the United States,” Essentially Sports quotes Tsarukyan.
Tsarukyan has 22 wins with three losses during his MMA career.
