The Ukrainian middleweight boxer shared his expectations from the upcoming fight with Joshua Conley.

Sergei Derevyancheko is still aiming for the world title. The 36-year-old boxer spoke about this before the fight with Joshua Conley.

According to the Ukrainian boxer, he is ready to show his best side in a fight with an American.

“Everyone will see my progress in the fight. I will face an opponent who can hit and move. He is not too busy, but I have to be ready for his punches.

It’s a big event and I’m happy to be a part of it. I am motivated and I know I will generate interest from the fans. The match at the Barclays Center is always fun. It is an amazing arena, which always gathers a large crowd. Can’t wait to get back in the ring.”

I feel strongly about the middle division. I will continue to work and face the best opponents, just to get back into the title fight. I want to fight any of the middleweight champions,” said Derevyanchenko as quoted by Boxing Scene.

It will be remembered that the match Derevyanchenko – Conley will take place on July 30 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, USA. The fight will take place on the undercard of the confrontation between Danny Garcia and Jose Benavidez.

Derevyanchenko has lost three of his fights in a row. The last time this happened was in December 2021, when the Ukrainian was beaten by Dominican Carlos Adames.
