Bronze medalist of the 2022 World Championship as part of the Russian national team Anton Brachev won the gold medal at the first stage of the International Sambo Grand Prix in Kemerovo.
In the final match in the weight category above 98 kg, Brachev defeated his compatriot Vladislav Onishchenko.
Russian athletes also took part in other final fights: the winners were Maxim Yagunov (up to 58 kg), Denis Yakovlev (up to 64 kg), Rasul Nash (up to 71 kg), Egor Sukhoparov (up to ‘at 79 kg), Vladislav. Panov (up to 88 kg) and Sergey Kuznetsov (up to 98 kg).
