The promoter of the Ukrainian world champion spoke about the decision to give the fight to the Polish city.

The fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois took place in Wroclaw, Poland, so that the event could be attended by as many Ukrainians as possible. The promoter of the Ukrainian world champion Alexander Usik, Alexander Krasyuk, spoke about this.

The functionary also confirmed that the goal was achieved, as 85% of the tickets for the event were bought by refugees from our country.

“After the whole invasion, we couldn’t perform the show in our homeland, so we tried to do it as close to Ukraine as possible.

But I will not say that the choice of location immediately fell on this city. This has happened in the course of events. The original idea was to do it at the stadium in Warsaw. But the stadium was fully booked, and we had to find alternatives. And so the Lord brought us to Wroclaw, where, as it happened, the largest number of Ukrainians also lived.

Is it true that 85% of the tickets were bought by Ukrainians? We can say that these are value judgments. But the assessment is made not by a person, but by artificial intelligence. More precisely, the digital platform where the tickets were sold. Everyone who bought them registered and paid with a bank card, indicating their details. Therefore, it was not difficult for us to establish the approximate number of our countrymen. By the way, many of them settled not in Poland, but in other European countries. That’s why this information is available to us,” Champion told Krasyuk.

Let’s remember that Daniel Dubois previously gave advice to Tyson Fury before the fight with Alexander Usik.
