Russian Yulia Chumgalakova defeated Frenchwoman Gloria Almeida at the European Boxing Championships in Belgrade (Serbia).
The fight in the weight category up to 48 kg ended with the victory of Chumgalakova by decision.
In other fights of the day Nune Asatryan (up to 60 kg) defeated Vladislava Kukhta (Hungary), Gelyus Galieva (up to 50 kg) lost to Shannon Sweeney from Ireland, Karina Tazabekova (up to 54 kg) lost to Niamh Fay from Ireland and Daria Abramova (up to 57 kg) defeated the Spaniard Jennifer Fernandez Romero.
The European Boxing Championships take place in Belgrade from April 18 to 28.
