Russian Yulia Chumgalakova defeated Slovakian Nicole Durikova at the European Boxing Championships in Belgrade (Serbia).
The fight in the weight category up to 48 kg ended with the victory of Chumgalakova by decision.
In other fights of the day, Anastasia Kool (up to 52 kg) defeated Monika Szypos (Hungary), Daria Abramova (up to 57 kg) – Nikolina Cacic (Croatia), Elena Babicheva (up to 63 kg) turned out to be stronger than Sara Beram (Croatia), Darima Sandakova (up to 70 kg) won against Barbara Marcinkowska (Poland), Nune Asatryan (up to 60 kg) beat Olga Pavlina-Papadatu (Greece), Albina Moldajanova (up to 66 kg) was stronger than Oshin Deriev (Belgium), and Anastasia Shamonova won against Dunya Martinez Mas (up to 75 kg).
The European Boxing Championships take place in Belgrade from April 18 to 28. Russians participate in the tournament with national symbols.
