“You have to pressure him the same way Chisora did (British boxer Derek Chisora - approx. Athletistic). You have to push him into the ropes, where he will become a easier prey. However, you should not act recklessly against such a counter-puncher, like Usyk, because he himself can attack and start applying pressure. The key to defeating Usyk is the first few rounds. At rounds 5- 6, Usyk should take a lot of damage,” Hearn said.
The rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, United Arab Emirates. In the first fight between these boxers, which took place on September 25, 2021 in London, UK, Usyk won by unanimous decision. The Ukrainian boxer won the title of unified world heavyweight champion according to WBA Super, WBO, IBF and IBO.
