Athletistic/Football. Former world champion George Groves continues to view WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk as the favorite in the fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury.
“Yeah, I picked Usik in the Fury fight. I remember when Usik first moved up to heavyweight, I said, ‘He’s a dark horse.’
In previous years we have seen cruisers move up to the heavyweight ranks and dominate. This seemed incomprehensible to many people. They said he would never compete with Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. I still think Usyk will beat him,” Groves is quoted in Boxing 24/7.
The unification fight between Usik and Fury will take place on May 18.
