The former three-division champion recalled his loss a year ago in a duel with an American.
Vasily Lomachenko recalled his loss from Devin Haney in the fight for the title of absolute lightweight champion.
The former three-division champion said he still disagrees with the judges’ decision to award the win to his opponent.
“What I can’t forget is my last fight with Haney. I can’t forget the boxing robbery. I don’t understand: how? You can be the best, but the judges don’t agree with you, but that’s another story. Now just history.
After the fight, I said I will sleep well, because I understand, I know that I won this fight,” Lomachenko told Top Rank Boxing.
Let’s remember that in May of last year, Lomachenko lost to Haney by decision in the fight for the title of absolute lightweight champion.
On May 11, the Ukrainian will fight against George Kambosos for the IBF title. Lomachenko has arrived in Australia for the fight and made his first statement.
