The famous British trainer named his favorite in the fight for the title of absolute world champion.

The fight for the title of absolute world champion is close, but Alexander Usyk will win. Renowned coach Barry McGuigan thinks so.

According to the specialist, the Ukrainian is stronger in sports and this will allow him to maintain a fast pace throughout the fight, as well as take a close round.

“I think it’s going to be a close fight. I think this fight could go either way. I’m starting to lean more towards Usyk. I believe that in the last few years, he has the better athleticism. It’s always been said that against Usyk you can’t rely on just one punch, Usyk has a lot of skill and I think he has a lot of rounds and his athleticism can close rounds in the last 20-30 seconds.

In any case, I wouldn’t be surprised. I don’t think they can beat each other. In my opinion, this will be one of the most amazing fights for the fans. People are dying to see this complex multi-move move,” McGuigan told Pro Boxing Fans.

We remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury is scheduled for May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

In the past, former heavyweight world champion Tony Bellew also preferred Usik to fight Fury.
