Legendary Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko will participate in the European Sambo Championships, which will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia.
The competition will take place from May 9 to 12. Athletes from 30 countries are expected.
During the visit, Emelianenko will hold a master class for representatives of different types of martial arts, give a lecture to sports students and talk with journalists.
In early 2023, Emelianenko, 47, announced his retirement from MMA. The Russian has won 40 and suffered seven defeats during his professional career. Emelianenko is an honored master of Sambo sports, four-time world champion and nine-time champion of Russia in combat Sambo.
