Athletistic / Boxing. The fight for the title of absolute light heavyweight world champion between Russians Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol has been postponed. This was announced by the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al Al-Sheikh.

The fight was postponed due to an injury suffered by 39-year-old Beterbiev. He reportedly suffered a torn meniscus. The athlete was out of action until September.

The fight was scheduled to take place on June 1 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

Beterbiev fought 20 fights in his career, winning them all. He owns the WBC, WBO and IBF championship belts. In turn, the WBA Super Bivol world champion fought 22 fights, winning them all.
