The press service of the All-Russian Sambo Federation has published a list of athletes of the national team who will participate in the upcoming European Championships in Serbia.
The competition will take place from May 9 to 12. Athletes from 30 countries are expected.
The Russian men’s team included: Nikita Petukhov (58 kg), Alexey Zaitsev (64 kg), Ramed Gukev (71 kg), Ilya Zatylkin (79 kg), Anton Surovtsev (88 kg), Denis Bakanov (98 kg), Roman Zheltov (+98 kg).
The women’s tournament will include: Yulia Molchanova (50 kg), Anastasia Lukanina (54 kg), Alena Alyokhina (59 kg), Anastasia Goncharova (65 kg), Ksenia Zadvornova (72 kg), Alena Prokopenko (80 kg) and Albina Cholombitko (+80 kg).
The Russian national combat sambo team included: Ai-Kherel Khertek (58 kg), Alexander Dontsov (64 kg), Konstantin Podoynitsyn (71 kg), Ivan Lozhkin (79 kg), Said Saidov (88 kg), Magomed Hasanov (98 kg) and Mikhail Kashurnikov (+98 kg ) ).
The Russian national team performs at international competitions under the anthem and flag of the International Sambo Federation (FIAS).
