The promoter is not against bringing his boxers together in a head-to-head fight

According to Arum, Lomchenko may meet with another boxer from the Top Rank promotion company – WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson.
“I have another fighter, Shakur Stevenson. So if Lomachenko wins and if Shakur, who has a fight scheduled for July, wins, then a Lomachenko-Stevenson fight needs to be arranged in the fall. All fans will appreciate the unification fight of two excellent technical boxers.”
“Kambosos is very good. Even though he wasn’t born in Perth, he’s fighting on home turf, and that means something,” Arum said.
The fight between Vasily and George will take place on May 12. The event, which also includes two undercard fights, will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, starting at approximately 5 a.m. Kyiv time.
Let us remember that in May 2023, Lomachenko lost to Devin Haney in a fight for the title of absolute world champion. In turn, Kambosos defeated Briton Maxi Hughes in his last fight, winning the IBO lightweight title.
