According to information published by the Chairman of the General Directorate of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al al-Sheikh on social networks, Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol will meet Libyan Malik Zinad. This will be the defense of the World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight title. The fight will take place in Riyadh on June 1.

Initially, Bivol was scheduled to fight for the outright world light heavyweight title against his compatriot Artur Beterbiev, but the latter suffered a torn meniscus and the fight was postponed. Beterbiev currently holds the WBC, WBO and IBF championship belts.

Bivol, 33, has 22 victories (11 by knockout) in 22 fights, while Zinad, 30, has also won all 22 fights in the professional ring, with 16 victories ahead of schedule.
