Grebnev urged Pavlovich not to box with Lewis, but to fight him

AMC Fight Nights Fighter Alexander Grebnev believes Russian Sergey Pavlovich shouldn’t fight American Derrick Lewis at UFC 277, but should fight him.

“Of course, logging would be much more profitable for Derrick. In my opinion, Lewis hits harder than Francis Ngannou. At least that’s what Curtis Blades said. Under no circumstances should Pavlovich box with him. In this case, he will act extremely unreasonably. I think he has to fight it, because in this aspect the American is very weak. He has nothing but knockout power,” Grebnev told RT.

The UFC 277 tournament will take place on the night of July 31, 2022, Moscow time, in Dallas, USA. Two Russian fighters will perform on the main card: Sergey Pavlovich and Magomed Ankalaev. Pavlovich will face Lewis in the heavyweight division.

Pavlovich, 30, has won 15 mixed martial arts fights and lost once. Lewis, 37, has won 26 fights and lost nine.
