Athletistic / Boxing. The former WBC heavyweight boxing world champion, Briton Tyson Fury, turned to his last opponent – the absolute champion in this weight category, Ukrainian Alexander Usik. Fury said he would like to visit Ukraine and meet Usik’s family there.
“I would like to come to your country with my family and vacation with yours. Well, then you come to my house and vacation with me,” Fury said according to TNT Sports.
“No problem, my friend,” Usyk replied.
On the night of May 19, a fight took place between Usik and Fury in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with the victory of the Ukrainian by split decision. Alexander inflicted Fury’s first defeat in the professional ring, and he himself remained undefeated. There is a good chance that a rematch will take place in October-November.
