The Ukrainian ex-world champion does not see the Briton as having enough resources to regain the titles.
Tyson Fury cannot beat Oleksandr Usik in a rematch if it happens. This opinion was expressed in a commentary in the Tribune by former world champion Vyacheslav Senchenko.
According to the former famous boxer, he immediately predicted victory for his countryman, because he did not see the Briton with enough skills and resources to defeat Usik.
– For me this is an expected success. I made predictions before the fight and expressed the opinion that Usyk would win. And it will be a bright and confident success. Yes, the battle is not easy, it is hard. But I have no doubts to turn and press Alexander. Many didn’t believe it, they said Fury would win. However, I didn’t think so.
– There will be a few moments, but this is the end of the round. They just count the knockdown and that’s it. If there’s even another minute or 30 seconds there, it’s probably an early success
– Hard to say. There, as we know, according to one version, a belt was already played. That means it will no longer be a fight for the absolute champion. Maybe they’ll leave these belts up for the rematch anyway, and then play it up. There are already applicants there. Sasha must protect them or free them. Maybe they’ll do another rematch for good, and then, most likely, Usik won’t defend every belt. It would be a huge burden if every organization forced him to fight. It has to be fought every 2-3 months. I think if he wins the rematch, he will fight 1-2 more times.
– There could be something similar to how the rematch with Joshua was. Maybe Usyk pushes and knocks. My forecast will be the same as today – I don’t think Fury will win against Alexander.
Let’s remember that Usik’s victory over Fury brought him the absolute heavyweight championship. The fight went all 12 rounds. Usyk won by split decision – 115:112, 114:112, 113:114.
Earlier, former world champion Johnny Nelson said that the referee saved Fury in the fight against Usyk.
