The former coach of the Ukrainian boxer commented on the Ukrainian receiving the title of absolute champion.
Alexander Usik should think about the end of his sports career. This is what the former coach of Ukrainian boxer James Ali Bashir said.
According to a well-known specialist, Usik could have a rematch against Fury, but then he should hang up his gloves. The Ukrainian has nothing to prove, because there are no people capable of defeating him yet;
“I don’t see anyone who can beat Usyk because they have to box. You can’t knock out Alexander with one punch. To beat him you have to know how to box.
How many people can box him? How long Usik will be in boxing, only God knows. I would tell him to try and get one more fight with Fury and then retire. There’s nothing left to prove,” the Seconds Out coach quotes.
Let’s remember that Usik’s victory over Fury brought him the absolute heavyweight championship. The fight went all 12 rounds. Usyk won by split decision – 115:112, 114:112, 113:114.
Let’s remember that earlier the ex-champion advised Usik to end his boxing career.
