Malawian boxer Isaac Chilemba believes that the Russian Artur Beterbiev will win Dmitri Bivol in their head-to-head duel for the title of absolute light heavyweight world champion.
Bivol will fight on June 1 in Saudi Arabia with Libyan Malik Zinad, second in the IBF rankings. Initially, Bivol was supposed to fight with Artur Beterbiev for the absolute champion title, but he was injured.
— If the fight between Bivol and Beterbiev takes place in the future, I think Arthur will win. It is much more powerful and acts harsher. I have personal experience of opposing Bivol. If I was 100% ready, I would have beaten him easily, I would have had a better chance. In general, I don’t think Bivol will be able to cope with Beterbiev,” Chilemba told .
In August 2018, Chilemba lost to Bivol by unanimous decision. Chilemba has also boxed with Sergey Kovalev, Alexander Gvozdyk, Tony Bellew and many others.
