The legendary ring announcer accidentally left himself a precious souvenir from the historic battle.
Michael Buffer shows off a souvenir from the fight between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury.
The legendary ring announcer hid a card with the judges’ scores for the match, in which the Ukrainian became the absolute world champion.
According to Buffer, he would have returned this letter, but was unable to due to the excitement around the ring in Riyadh.
“This is a real card given to me by the Middle East Boxing Commission!”
Usually it is returned after I announce the results. Because of the number of people in the ring, I was not able to return to their table. Looks like I have a valuable collector’s item,” Buffer wrote.
