“I would like to thank the organizers of the already traditional tournament for the preparation and the warm welcome. All athletes arrived well prepared, today there was a media weigh-in and tomorrow bright and interesting fights will take place. Many participants of the tournament are part of the Russian boxing team and we expect great fights from them. For the guys, this is good additional experience and an incentive for new victories. The competition will help prepare for this year’s international competitions, and four rounds will give them the opportunity to properly distribute their forces,” said head coach of the Russian men’s team Viktor Farkhutdinov.
The semi-final matches will take place at the third stage on May 30 in Orenburg, the superfinal will take place on June 6 in St. Petersburg.
