Ukrainian boxer helps the army and prepares to return to the ring
WBO International lightweight title coach Denis Berinchyk (16-0, 9 KOs) Evgeny Golub said that the Ukrainian is ready to return to the ring.
“Denis is doing well, his health is a wagon, so we will soon begin preparations for the battle. We will try to bring a new title to our country,” said the coach.
“Now Denis has taken humanitarian aid, I won’t say where exactly, but “there”. I should be back in a few days and we will start full training.”
“It is not easy for him to switch from war to boxing, but this process has been going on for a long time. I knew about the fight a few months ago. I already miss training. I want to make some noise.”
Earlier, Berinchyk announced that he was resuming training. Recall that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Denis was in the ranks of the territorial defense.
Earlier it was reported that Berinchyk (16-0, 9 KOs) will fight next on October 22 in French Pont-Saint-Maxense. The opponent of the Ukrainian will be the Frenchman Ivan Mendy (47-5-1, 22 KOs), who owns the European Boxing Council (EBU) lightweight championship belt.
