The event will take place on August 17 in Quebec, Canada
The super middleweight fight between the Ukrainian boxer has been officially confirmed Sergey Derevyanchenko (15-5, 10 KOs) and the Frenchman Christian Mbilli (27-0, 22 KOs).
The ten-round fight will take place on Saturday, August 17, in Quebec (Canada). The event will be hosted by the Videotron Center arena. Earlier, in May, it became known that the Ukrainian and French sides had entered into a deal for this fight.
Let us remind you that recently in New York Derevyanchenko confidently defeated the American Vaughn Alexander on points. Previously, Sergei lost to Mexican Jaime Munguia by decision.
The Ukrainian is 38 years old. At the end of last year, he said that he plans to perform in the professional arena for about two more years. Sergei’s main goal is to win the title.
Mbilli, 29, is a Frenchman of Cameroonian origin. On the night of May 26, he defeated Briton Mark Heffron by technical knockout in the first round. The victory marked Christian’s seventh defense of the WBC Continental Americas super middleweight title.
